It has taken us 2 years to develop the ideal material properties for our Prochocs mouthguards - we use surgical grade EVA formula (Ethylene-vinyl acetate), which is not too soft and not too hard and offers the best protection and durability.
We have worked in close collaboration with many top athletes to find the perfect shapes and thicknesses.

People often assume that in order to provide maximum protection a mouthguard needs to completely cover the teeth. We have worked in close collaboration with many top athletes to find the perfect shape and thickness. In reality, a mouthguard that extends too far back will cause the wearer to gag. The Prochocs mouthguard ends somewhere between your first and second molar, which prevents it from coming into contact with too much of your soft palate. Therefore, it is not necessary to cut your Prochocs mouthguard.
